No matter how many times I watch it, I'm always fascinated by that unique atmosphere.

I first saw this film in a class lecture. We see the family members surrounding Gilbert in a casual way, and I remember being impressed by the simplicity of life, the way each of them faced their own challenges and people, and their unwavering family love. Above all, Leonardo DiCaprio's performance was realistic, lovable, unique, and eye-catching, naturally expressing characterization and detailed traits, which again frightened me.

It's a work that crushes your heart so much that it's honestly impossible to rate it. I am glad to have seen it, and glad to know about it.

This movie is one of my favorite movies that I saw in elementary school. Because of this, it always gives me the same thrill as when I was a kid, where imagination meets reality. Above all, it is my dream to eat a peach that big.

It was that kind of work that puts a warm heart on a cold body into images and allows the viewer to share that feeling just by watching it. Also, young Johnny Depp was too cute.

The last time I saw this film was when I was a much younger child, so I think I still had little awareness of the message the film was presenting at that time. Well, I still got the interpretation as a child, but the good thing about Ghibli is that the impression of the work changes depending on the age of the viewer. I want to continue to enjoy that change, so I'm sure I'll watch it again.

I thought it might be the most jazzy and idealistic thing to try to live as one's heart desires.

I take my hat off to our predecessors who have been fighting for their rights and their cause with blood, sweat and tears over the course of time. And jazz is an integral part of Black history and one of the reasons why I enjoy watching films with this historical background.

This movie is one of my favorite Ghibli films from my childhood, and even though I’ve seen it many times over the years, each viewing offers me new insights. The film explores the inseparable and timeless issues of human development and environmental destruction, reminding us that it’s impossible to make a simple judgment of right and wrong. We’re reminded that as long as we live on Earth, we must confront these problems and continue to reflect on them deeply. When Ashitaka returns the head, he says, “I want to return it by human hands,” which made me think of the fundamental idea in Japanese culture that values mystical formality.

I was overwhelmed at times by the way the film captured the transformation of the graceful, delicate White Swan as her ambition consumed her, turning her into the Black Swan. But rather than being “dyed” black, I saw it as two sides of the same coin—her darker self had always been there, and in the end, she fully embraced and even controlled it. When she bled on stage yet still whispered, “I felt it, perfect,” I couldn’t help but applaud. Her fragility, her obsession with perfection, and the way she expressed the final moment of her pursuit were breathtaking. It was delicate yet intense, and I was completely captivated.

The film really dives deep into the human side of war—the sacrifice, the fear, and the emotional toll. It’s not just about the battlefield but also how people’s morality and sense of self can be pushed to the limits in such extreme circumstances. Many scenes deeply moved me, especially as I tried to imagine how harsh it must be to live and operate in such circumstances, where survival forces one to compromise their very humanity. Even then, I know that the reality of it is far beyond anything I can truly imagine.

After watching it, it became one of my top five favorite movies of all time. This movie beautifully captures the essence of childhood, family, and the experience of being a woman in this world. The film portrays timeless emotions and the powerful relationships within families, especially between sisters. I grew up in a similar way to the women in the film, so the story felt deeply relatable and thought-provoking—almost like seeing a part of my own life on screen.Although the time period in the film is different from today, I realized that women in every era have faced similar struggles and shared the same hopes. The film's vivid portrayal of the hearts and minds of these strong yet soft women, and its mix of resilience, love, and hope, made it truly unforgettable.

There are so many ways to form a family. This warm film reminded me that each of us is shaped by a mixture of our individuality, sensitivity and compassion.

I chose to watch this documentary by chance because we have the same twins in common. After watching the movie, I was so overwhelmed that I was speechless. I thought that if I were in the same position as Alex, I might act the same way, thinking that it might be a chance to create happiness for one half and myself again. Even if it was a outright lie.

Ponyo is the only Ghibli anime that I quit watching halfway through when I was a little girl. I don't know why my childhood self quit watching it, but I'm sure the timing wasn't right. Watching the film this time, I felt Ghibli's way of showing the threat of the ocean as the greatness of nature that has embraced all forms of life in a unique way. Ponyo, born to a mother as generous as the ocean itself and a father whose emotions move in waves like human emotions, was exposed to a new world and innocently absorbed various experiences, which made me feel both the rich flexibility of children, including myself, as a young child and the motherhood that watches over them.

The work is a visualization of the doubt about the world that everyone has once thought, "Is this a truth?”. Jim Carrey's comical performance spiced up the nostalgia, and from the beginning to the end, the images, story, and dialogue all kept me entertained. It was the kind of film that I would like to watch again when I am stuck for something.

I love the film transforms what seems like a simple concept one fixed location into something deeply emotional and meaningful. It’s fascinating how a single place can hold so many layers of history, human experiences, and emotions. Sometimes, we take the places around us for granted, forgetting that they’ve witnessed countless lives before us and will continue to do so after us. This movie remind us that home isn’t just a physical space but a collection of memories, emotions, and history.

The contrast between the black-and-white-like world and the blood red was intensely and beautifully expressed in this movie. Above all, how can a collaboration between a dark fantasy and Johnny Depp not be interesting? You know it's a film that's so good that even children can enjoy it, so much so that the first few minutes of the film will bring back all the memories of seeing it in the past.

These young people are so narrow-minded that they are directly connected to death, but that is why they live their lives to the fullest in the present, and I was convinced that a great wave of despair would engulf them because of this. I was deeply moved by the difference between the shining faces of the boys who believed that tomorrow would come, and the faces of the young men who, through the deaths of their friends and the sacrifice of their mentors, finally transformed, one by one, into the faces of young men with a firm will. Still, as a third party, I would have liked to see them all graduate with a happy ending.

It was a work that sadly and beautifully expressed the balance between the beautiful and warm scenery and the man-made destruction of war. This is what it means to go beyond the dead, and I was overwhelmed by his willingness to bear the death of his friend and fulfill his promise even at the cost of his own life. I find it somewhat ironic that this is war, and that behind the worst acts of destruction caused by human beings, there is a beautiful human story.

This is one of the films I finally got around to watching. It tells me that I don't know when the fear will end, but the time to move is now. There are people who have paved the way for us at any time, even beyond sacrifice, and I think we are here today because of them.

I can only say one word “the best”. The blue shirt guy completely cooked it. I wish I had a chance to see it on a huge screen in a movie theater.

Ironically, parents must know that children are fragile but resilient creatures, capable of producing more than their parents can give. If parents can realize this, they will one day weigh their claims against the limits of their children's choices. Nevertheless, just as each family has its own form of love, this work taught me that there is surely more than one path. It may not always be beautiful, but family unity is a good thing.

I have never seen a Nazi film like this before. The way Hitler was represented in the film was fresh, and although I may not be allowed to say so, there were many kissy-laugh scenes that were comical. However, the film also expressed the cruel side of the story well, and the balance between hope and despair was so exquisite that it was heart-wrenching. I felt that the boy was just one of the innocent children who had been played with in that era, and that anyone can be like that.

His desperation to regain past glory, his suffering, his human nature to cling to the best moments of his life. The desire to cling to something that once defined you is something many of us can relate to. I especially like the idea that his suicide attempt was not just despair, but also self-actualization. In a way, the suicide attempt forced him and his daughter to show their true selves. And that final scene, whether he literally flew or whether it symbolizes his liberation, feels like he has finally let go of everything that had bound him.

By the time I figured all this out it was a perfect 5 stars. And best part was “ I’ll see you at the beginning, friend “.

Except for the daytime nudity presented in the form of a peek, the imaginative visual presentation was spectacular and satisfying despite the short running time.
