this family trip completely changed my mind. it was a week with my Spanish cousins and my English skyrocketed here. I had so much fun and saw such wonderful places.

this is one of my core memories. I was in Spain with my family and a distant uncle hosted is for a week, I had 2 cousins my age and we talked about music, movies, comics and just everything in English. here my English really skyrocketed. not only that but my Spanish too. I'll always remember while watching this view one of my cousin said it was beautiful in Spanish and I just replied "yeah" and they were stunned because I was able to understand it. I was also so happy to finally see some people my age in the alternative community. talking about twenty one pilots, panic! at the disco, horror movies and strange stuff was something amazing. I finally knew I wasn't the only one. the vacation itself was amazing, we saw different part of Spain, during a beautiful, sunny summer. thanks to our relatives, we traveled like locals and had a true blast.

Hungary was this year's destination as a family holiday. my mother's birthday was during it and we had so much fun. with me and my brother growing up it's hard to spend time together. but I'm happy we were able to spend some quality time✨

i went to Matera with my family and friends for my oldest friend's graduation! we were all so proud of her 💚 and also this place is amazing and the food is something more than delicious

Tokyo, Asakusa, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Nagoya, Osaka, Nara. a nice family trip. full of themed parks, anime, manga, food and everything in between.

浅草寺 (Sensō-ji) is Tokyo's oldest and most famous Buddhist temple. it's a very magical place, here, we saw the 百八会(Hyakuhachi-e) the New Year's Eve bell-ringing ceremony, where 108 people take turns ringing the bell 108 times to purify humanity of 108 earthly temptations as the year ends and the new one begins.

we found it by accident, buy boy was it worth it.

i love ikebukuro and in general the Yamanote Line. it is so lively and full of unique stuff! ikebukuro is filled with owl references, an animal strongly associated with the neighborhood for several reasons and legends. also visited the famous "yaoi cave" (I expected something more structured ngl it was a bit empty with cheap stuff)

honestly I don't like chiikawa, the character or the franchise. we went there because my sibling is a fan and wanted to visit it. I found it a bit empty, without much to do, just queues and small statues with photo spots; but the real deal breaker was that, if it wasn't for my sibling who explained to me what the scenes meant, I wouldn't understand a thing. also, it was a useless park. I mean, when I visit something like this I expect at least a room with some original art, sketches, wip and whatnot. it's both a manga and a series after all. it didn't give me anything and I left disappointed. [external note: I'm a bit disappointed I wasn't able to find this on "place" here on repov, plus it couldn't make me add it.. a bit sad, but it's in ikebukuro]

stunning but very crowded and smaller than expected, the theater is beautiful.

a really unique landmark, perfect for shopping and immerse yourself in the Japanese culture.

the place is beautiful, the garden was amazing and honestly it was a pity not seeing it in full bloom, the architecture is breathtaking; but (for some reason?) I expected the palace itself to be bigger lol

magical, straight out a ghibli movie.

it's very nice, more lively than Osaka but for some reason I think I enjoyed there more!

it was nice, and I appreciated the idea of being immersed in nature and also the reuse of the old Expo space. the problem was the way it was organized, probably. and also the fact that with this amount of space and distance between things, if you wanted to move by foot, it would take very long. we were there from 10am to 5pm (the normal opening hours) and we were still able to see most of it, but we missed a small part of the witches village and in general I would have enjoyed spending a bit more time in certain areas.. (also seeing the sunset/blue hour wasn't possible) overall very nice experience, tho! the themed parts/houses were amazing and so detailed!! on a side note, I hate how shops behave like an item isn't really "sold out" but they will just refuse to sell it to you [yeah it's something personal]

I love diver city! and the Gundam is so stunning!! we saw it moving for the first time and honestly it was a bit disappointing :/

it was really nice! a pity we had to see it a bit quickly. probably a professional bias but I loved the design of posters and maps!

it's so sad you can't take pictures inside the museum :[ I love the care and thought they put in every little detail, and also the focus on kids!!
