this was genuinly one of the most visually beautiful movies I've ever seen. I loved the transitions between the stop motion style of filming and the more conventional format.
the aesthetics of this movie were sincerely wonderful- I love the plethora of glitter, unicorns, and purple. they really nailed the innocence and childlike aspect cinematographically.
I think the actual storyline was really realistic and blunt which contrasts really well the fairytale and symbolism aspect of it. the emotions portrayed by Natalie Dyer felt extremely real and I hated Sterling so the actor did a good job there!
I liked it. it made me feel things. probably will not rewatch tho :(
