It was snowing quite heavily earlier, something I'm not that used to since usually when we get snow here it melts pretty quickly. It looks pretty and it's fun to have a little change of scenery, but my feet are frozen now.

So...I feel like it went alright, I asked 4 if my friends and all of them said how difficult it was and most of our answers aren't the same... I'm so scared for my grades. This year is NOT my year.. Next exam: Applied biology (a lot of it is anatomy)

First day of my internship at a nursing home. To be honest it was wayyy worse last year, like up until now I'm fine (I'm only halfway through my day). I'm pretty sure I'll be fine though since the hardest part is always in the morning. My back kinda hurts though but besides that everything's been pretty calm. Wish I could get a job here instead of the job I alr have because I'm barely stressing here, but it's too far. I'd have to ride my bike for 30 minutes and I already start at 6:30 a.m. which means I'd have to leave at 5:50 a.m. so I can change into my uniform at 6:20 a.m.

psychology I'm pretty sure I passed with at least a 60%. I hope it's more than that though. Tomorrow's exams: History Citizenship Sience

It's so crazy how it's almost 2026. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go into the new year still sick, which sucks. It really doesn't feel like it'll be new year in less than two days. It's like the hype around it has died down. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Hollidays like Christmas, New Year, ... don't feel the same anymore. I mean I don't even celebrate them, but I still get that feeling.

I just snuck out (with the help of my mom) to go get some sushi behind my dad's back. He would've never allowed me to be out alone that late, but I've been craving it for weeks now. I'm so happy now.

I'm so sad that cameras can't capture the beauty the eye can. Though in a way it really shows how precious our eyes really are.

I woke up quite late so I couldn't study much, but I didn't do horrible on the exam. It definitely could've been way worse. Next exam: English

It was okay. I was actually done pretty quickly, but had to stay for my speaking exam which honestly I don't know how that went. I answered every question, but I got two really weird questions (in my opinion) where I had to ask him to ask it in a different way. Next (and last) exam: home economics

When I said home economics it kinda sounded more like chores, but this exam is more about food. As in what kind of food can you give a baby, what kind of food can you give an older person struggling with malnutrition/diabetes, ... Last one. I'm so happy. Most of the questions were multiple choice type questions so it actually went by pretty well even though I didn't study that well.

My internship ended last week Friday and today was my first time in home care as an intern. I have this for another two weeks and then I'm back to school. This part is easier though. I have no people I have to make reports about or observe what they're eating etc. I just have to help where I can and talk with the people whilst the nurse that's with me cleans up any wounds that they might have(I'm not allowed to do that yet). My day started at 7 am and I was already done by 11:50 am. (Though this was probably only because the person I was with does that as a side job so she doesn't have any personal patiënt to tend to.) This is so much different from 6:30 am - 3 pm and I'm glad it is. I really needed a break. I'm just glad the hardest part is behind my back. Now I just get through these next two weeks (excluding the last Friday, but I'll talk about it when we're there.)

If I could go back in time and tell my 12 year old self that I'd make it to 2026, that I'd make it to 17... I know she wouldn't believe me. I'm getting so emotional. I'm so proud of the person I've grown and am still growing to be. There's so much that changed: I slowly started actually liking the way I look: my body, my face.. I started liking the way I act, my grades have been really good, a few years ago I would've never even dreamt of getting past a 60% let alone 80 on multiple exams. I'm just so happy for how this year turned out. Yes, there were hardships, but I got through them. Life always has its ups and downs, but it doesn't stop at the downs even when it feels like it might, it keeps going. Happy New Year. (I'm kinda sad I can't add any video's on here since I have a whole almost 9 minute video of fireworks, but they're pretty far away so maybe not so worth it.)

Dutch went okay. I think I passed Next exam: Care (a bunch of medical conditions, symptoms and some anatomy)

I'm getting my hair dyed today and I should be able to go get my package (since there was a problem with the delivery to my house) soon. Today's going pretty well tbh. I hope it stays that way.

Went out with my best friends to eat some sushi. I was so full it was absolutely delicious. I'd been craving sushi for over a month. I'm so glad I finally got it. Also I'm getting my grades for my exams tomorrow, wish me luck.

I got my grades back and I'm honestly happy about them. Sure some of them could use a little bit of improvement, but this might be the best exam period I've had yet. Dutch: 65,9% English: 69,4% French: 71% Science: 72,8% Math: 65% Citizenship: 65,1% History: 73,1% Economics: 80% Home economics: 84,4% Psychology: 82,3% Biology: 57,3% Care: 80%

French went good. I'm pretty confident I passed. Next exam: Dutch

(6:30 p.m.) I've been at this for over an hour now and I have only gotten through the first chapter. 5 more to go😭 (8:30 p.m.) I gave up. I'm so tired my eyes are closing on their own. I'll try to quickly go over everything tomorrow morning, but right now I really can't anymore. In the past 30 or so minutes I haven't been able to actually remember much because of how tired I am. Last day of my internship and I'm beat. I was half falling asleep in the car every time we went from patient to patient. Luckily we were done by 11.30 am.

I remember when my mom used to buy me this one snack when she'd go out and it was these salty pretzels covered in chocolate. I liked them so much. So when I saw that she'd bought a packet of just regular pretzels I decided to cover them in chocolate. It took me like 2 hours though 😭. I love the fact that they're heart shaped.

I think my favorite part about this internship are the sunsets I see everyday. Wish it looked as good on camera as it does in real life.

Some friends of mine and I decided to give each other one flower of a bouquet and make a sort of multi bouquet with that so I bought these roses. They're so pretty, I just took a picture of them whilst carrying my bookbag which was so full it was genuinely hurting my shoulder so I couldn't take a decent picture of them.

Finished product I also got some gifts from my friend for my birthday.

I'm so dead today. I was planning on staying home and finishing up some assignments so I wouldn't have to do anything during the vacation, but one of my friends got sick and asked me if I could take her shift up so I did and everything went downhill from there First the battery of my electric bike wasn't charged up so I quickly went to charge it up, but it wasn't enough so it died when I was like halfway there so I had to walk most of the way because it's so hard to ride a dead e-bike. Worst part is I was also fasting so I couldn't even drink some water once I got there. My shift went by pretty well though, but for some reason I feel like I'm forgetting something and it's been stressing me out. I feel like I had a way worse day than what I wrote for some reason. Anyway I got home safely and I'm getting paid, that's the most important part. I've been getting so embarrassed to post on here lately because it feels like I'm talking to myself😭

My brother and little sister made those chocolate covered pretzels I made last time because they liked them so much. They turned out really good, but not as aesthetically pleasing as mine did🤭 Can't wait to eat a bunch.

Haven't been on here for a while now. School's been keeping me so busy and stressed. I've got a 20 minute presentation for tomorrow along with a test, which isn't that much compared to last week, but I'm absolutely drained. I've let a lot of my hobbies go temporarily like reading and playing the violin as a result and every time I think about them it just burns me out even more. Right now my life feels like a mess.

We're on our way to spend our vacation in Morocco. I'm can't wait to get there and enjoy a vacation without having to worry about school or anything else.😋
