I love this album bc it feels like you never know what’s gonna happen next. like it’s an indie rock album but it has so many world music influences and weird quirky bits it’s great!

A beautiful collection of instrumental tracks. Very different from how I discovered this guy on TikTok, he makes songs from stories that his little kid tells him and they’re hilarious! Highly recommend checking him out :)

A podcast that I love called Sidetracked has started an album club where they listen to an album each month and discuss it at the end of the month. They invite the listeners to send in thoughts too. It’s really fun and this was the first album this month! I loved it a lot, it’s a weird mix of loads of different genres like post punk and disco.

I think this is the most excited I’ve been for an album release that I’ve actually managed to catch before it comes out lmaoooooo like the excitement of hearing all the singles and loving them! I’m going to a show soon too! This is like the best thing ever, I love immersing myself in music and the worlds people build around albums :)

I’ve been loving a bit of electronic pop recently! This album is really popular because of Illegal but the rest is awesome too. It’s kinda pop mixed with d&b with plenty of samples.

LOVED THIS ALBUM SO MUCH!! Such a huge collection of artists making amazing music for a great cause. The message of this album is incredible. Everything about it is incredible! I hope that it raises loads of money. If you haven’t already go listen rn and if you enjoy buy it on CD or vinyl!!

I don’t dislike Harry Styles but I’ve never been a huge fan. I really liked Aperture though so I was excited for this album! I liked the songs, especially the electronic influence that was really cool, but none of them captured me like Aperture did for some reason. Maybe it’s just because I haven’t had time to sit with them yet but I found this album good/ok overall! Edit: Upon second listen I actually liked it more so I think it is one of those albums that you like more with time!

I’ve never been much of a Harry Styles fan but I loved his new song and that made me listen to some of his other music. I never realised how much I liked it, especially this song! It’s been stuck in my head all day and I’m not even mad about it :)

It’s the 10 year anniversary of this album today! Not my favourite 1975 record but there are some absolute bangers on here! I really love UGH!, She’s American, Somebody Else, Loving Someone, The title track, and The Sound.

Coldplay’s older discography is soooooo good!! Not as much of a fan of the newer albums but A Head Full of Dreams backwards is amazing!! This album is also definitely a highlight for me, such a colourful vibe but with darker themes underneath! I really love Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall and Major Minus
