This film reminds us that there have always been pioneers who took action to achieve justice, peace and freedom, and that we modern people must also take action to protect our will, even if it is something small, instead of living on the sidelines of our rights, even though the place and purpose may be different. And Eddie’s portrayal of Tom Hayden was brilliant, especially his character’s growth throughout the movie. His big moment at the end, where he reads the names of soldiers who died in Vietnam, was incredibly powerful. It was such a bold and emotional act, showing that even in a courtroom stacked against them, they refused to stay silent.
