A bigger twist or deeper character exploration could have made it much more engaging. It had a great setup, but it didn’t push the story as far as it could have. However, the way she outsmarted the chef by simply asking for a cheeseburger was so clever. It wasn’t about fighting or rebelling, it was about understanding his passion for cooking and using that to her advantage. And the fact that he let her take it to go, allowing her to escape, made the moment even more powerful. It felt almost like a silent agreement between them. Even though I didn’t love the movie overall, I think that scene made it a little more satisfying for me.
