This film really does make you reflect on personal ambition and what drives people to act. Unlike traditional hero stories, this one dives deep into individual experiences and personal justice rather than a universal sense of heroism. Your thoughts on Batman and the Joker are spot on. They look like opposites—one stands for order (Batman), the other for chaos (Joker)—but deep down, they’re actually reflections of each other. Both are shaped by trauma, both reject society’s rules, and both act purely based on their own beliefs. The key difference is that Batman tries to control his pain and use it to help others, while Joker embraces his darkness and tries to drag everyone down with him. And because of that, they constantly push each other further, making each other stronger in a way. It’s really tragic when you think about it. They can’t exist without each other, but they can never truly “win” against each other either.
