Although technically not bad, it's not my type of movie. I've never liked the romanticization of misery, and although it's well-made, it's far from other animation works. A pair of twins are separated as children when they become orphans, and the sister tells us the story of both of them, as well as all the difficulties (tragedies) that have happened to them during their lives. The stop-motion animation technique is in vogue, and every year, at least, there's a production in this style. My main problem here is how depressing the story is. If you're feeling down or lacking joy, this could sink you even further. So, only if you think the world is beautiful, that there are no problems and everything will be fine, watching this movie will be a good bucket of pure reality. Besides, the characters are not pleasant to look at, which makes it harder to watch. It's important to emphasize that although this is an animated film, it is NOT FOR CHILDREN, on the contrary, only some adults could enjoy it. It was shocking to see the first nudes made of plasticine.
