This movie is not for people looking for overwhelming surprises or twisted stories, it’s for all of us who are simply living in this reality. Aftersun shows me what life is and how we often pass through moments without truly noticing them. At the beginning, I expected something big to happen. I kept waiting for it, but then I realized this movie wasn’t about dramatic events, it was about emotions, feelings, love and memories that I’ve experienced in my own life. And sometimes, I was the one who ruined those moments without realizing it. This movie made me notice things I had been ignoring my own emotions, the way my heart moves, and the small but important moments happening around me. I used to overlook them, but now I understand. Life is more spectacular and beautiful than I thought. I need to focus on them and keep it like taking pictures with an analog camera. This movie made me feel all of that.
