Revenge is never good, it kills the soul and poisons it. A CIA agent, after his wife is killed in a terrorist attack in London, will use all his genius skills in cryptology to find his wife's killers and avenge her death, in a very medieval style. At least that's his intention, the problem is that he's just another simple nerd who spends 8 hours sitting in front of a monitor, so he doesn't look like he can be very medieval, so to speak. The movie is very well produced, the script is solid, and they don't get into metaphysical problems. The conflict of the grieving husband is well reflected and ends up being very emotional. Another one that doesn't reach a level of spectacularity either, but it is a good option to have some fun and escape the everyday. The performances are good, but I think that if Laurence "Morpheus" Fishburne had more screen time, he would have stolen the show. The Oscar "winner" Rami Malek doesn't present anything new and stays within what he always does, which is not necessarily bad, but one longed for more from him.
