one of those ultra rare lightning in a bottle magic, iconic MASTERPIECE genre defining career making timeless classics. it's the gold standard Ironman of the Sword-and-Sandals universe/genre, many have tried to replicate or imitate it but alas, none have come close. (yes, even Troy or Kingdom of Heaven) scored by the legendary Hans Zimmer, the music is BREATHTAKING. it's probably 50% of why dis movie was SO EPIC lolll. flawless performances and grand scale battles, props, costumes, and practical effects. it aged extremely well and still holds its own even in 2025. a must watch for, purdy much anybody lolll. the story's themes are timeless and universal, thus immune to any trendy idealogies. "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINTED!?" (nods furiously) now, the sequel tho~~
