A sensation beyond a decade and a film. A true fairy tale, as real as they all should be. It has absolutely stunning quality in terms of plot and technical production. The songs shine almost as much as this fascinating presentation of Thumbelina's story. It is, in fact, different from other films of its time, and perhaps for this and other reasons, unfortunately unrecognized.
