Why didn't I watch this when I was younger?!? I'm sure it would have become one of my favorite anime, along with ATLA. I loved the live-action and I'm watching the anime now with my brother and we're already reaching the Alabasta arc (We're so excited for the release of the second season of the live-action series next year! (Let's incarnate our inner film critic!) I'm in love. The dynamics of the characters and this world-building is simply captivating. The only thing that bores me is the dragging out and prolongation of some events, in addition to the insistent repetition of certain things, but I think that was inevitable.
