this was a long watch. very good movie nonetheless. first of all , the color palette was amazing. I love the use of red , gold and black to symbolize different things to each individual character. Guillermo del toro is no stranger to implementing that in his films previous to Frankenstein. the way the colors being brought to the viewers attention sets the scene and mood before a word is even spoken or a scene has fully been formed. that takes an immense amount of talent. the colors and aesthetic alone make this movie a masterpiece and work of art. I love the charismatic appeal to the characters and even the objects of the characters desires. that brings the old story of Frankenstein back to life with a new twist. also , the cast in phenomenal. I’ve never watched a bad movie with Mia goth or Christopher waltz. Jacob Elordi has proven his worth in this movie. I’ve not watched enough movies with him to really weight his talent but I will say he has showed his ass in this movie and proved he is truly a versatile actor. bravo Frankenstein ✨👏
