i read this back in late december and it was what brought me back to reading. over the summer last year i tried to start reading again but it fizzled out as soon as i finished the first book in one of the series i was reading. i think i finished this book in like three days (it could’ve been sooner but i tried to pace myself and get sleep) i started reading this book bc i saw so many tiktoks on it and the fan art was sooo good. i think i spoiled myself with this book because it was just so well written and addictive. the books i read after this really couldn’t compare. i think i’m due for a reread soon and then i will give an in depth review. for now just know i love jude and i love cardan. p.s. yes the tail took me a while to get over
