Went to the beach today with some of my family to take some pictures with a new (new to me) camera, it was very cold but nonetheless we went on to walk. we noticed A LOT of cars and people with advanced equipment walking to a certain point of the beach, so naturally my curiosity got the best of me and I followed. Turns out there was two snowy owls! not extremely rare but happens every few years depending on weather and food conditions in the arctic area they are from, I got terrible pictures since I didn’t want to get too close but I thought it was still cool for my first time having a camera to use. ALSO cool was a red winged hawk that we saw almost right away, he seemed young since his tail was still not prominently red but nonetheless common to see at this beach. OKAY THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION
