It’s a very different book from what I usually read. I liked it in the sense that the situation really makes you think, “What would I do here?” whether the characters’ decisions make sense or not, and why. But at the same time, it’s a frustrating, stressful book, and honestly, you can’t really connect with any of the characters or fully trust the narration. The story feels like a small lapse in the protagonist’s life, something that shakes her up, triggers a bunch of thoughts and doubts, and ultimately leads her to make a decision… whether it’s the right one or not really depends on the reader. It’s short, but it was still a bit difficult for me to read, mostly because of that lack of connection with the main character.
