Lovely animation, lots of fun songs, adorable animal characters and an interesting story. this film would’ve been really good if only Prince Derek wasn’t so unlikable. not only was he rude to Princess Odette over the years for literally no reason. he also doesn’t show any interest or respect until he thinks she’s pretty. he even calls her an ugly duckling to her face 😐and when she asked him if he loved her for anything other than her beauty he has the audacity to say “what else is there?” wtf? They tried to redeem him later on but honestly it didn’t work for me especially with the fact that the majority of the film focuses on his story rather than Odette’s :(
