The 89th Academy Awards ceremony (AMPAs) Twenty One Pilots' (my favorite band) Josh Dun, Sum 41‘s Frank Zummo and Adrian Young (No Doubt, DREAMCAR) performed together on the 2017 APMAs stage. They covered the likes of Queen‘s “We Will Rock You,” Beastie Boys‘ “So What’cha Want,” Smash Mouth‘s “All Star” (where Dun actually played the trumpet), No Doubt’s “Hella Good,” Sum 41’s “Fat Lip” and twenty one pilots’ “Ride.” I remember watching it with one of my "emo friends", we watched it live at night due to the timezones but it was so worth it! I discovered a lot of alternative bands that I still listen to even today! and it also helped me so much with my English skills.
