I really love the trio of main characters: Fusheng, Gutian, and Wenjue 🎭. The overall storyline is solid, the pacing works, and the drama shows clear ambition through its blend of adventure, politics, and mystery ✨🏺⚔️ However, the execution feels too surface-level One of the biggest disappointments lies in the treasure itself 🗝️ The mystery is constructed in a complicated way, with layered clues and heavy symbolism, yet the final reveal turns out to be largely metaphorical. Symbolism alone is not an issue, but with such an elaborate buildup, the payoff feels underwhelming and disproportionate to the expectations created earlier 😕 The ending is another weak point. The resolution feels unclear and overly dependent on hallucinations 🌫️, leaving several major questions unanswered. The antagonist, the so-called Wise King 👑, lacks sufficient background and motivation, making his actions feel incomplete and difficult to fully understand The final battle involving General Jiu (Jiu Ge) is also difficult to accept logically ⚔️. As a general, fighting alone until death feels unrealistic. A city’s military force would not plausibly be so limited, causing the scene to feel forced for emotional impact rather than grounded storytelling 🤔 Overall, the plot is decent but lacking depth 📖. The story could have carried far more meaning and emotional weight if the themes and characters had been explored further. Instead, many elements feel unfinished, suggesting unrealized potential rather than a fully developed narrative 🧩 The genre is usually one I enjoy the most❤️, which makes the disappointment more noticeable. The concept and atmosphere are promising, but the drama remains on the surface. With deeper exploration, the story could have been truly compelling
