My mom has been a traveler her whole life. She has visited from Morocco to Hong Kong, from Russia to Egypt, from one side of Berlin Wall to the other and so on. During those times, probably when she got asleep standing near a wall, she coined 3 major rules for backpacking travelers: 1. Sit every time you see an empty spot; 2. Eat like it's your last meal; 3. Make use of every bog you see. Then I started travelling solo too. With a backpack, of course. Between museums and places I found myself able to coin a new, fourth rule: 4. Collect every free stuff you see (this includes brochures, free booklets, magazines, calling cards and more)
