In poetry, especially Urdu poetry, Ulfat (اُلفت) signifies deep, intimate love, affection, attachment, or profound friendship, going beyond mere romance to include spiritual and existential bonds, often implying familiarity and a deep emotional connection that can be unspoken. It's a rich word describing the state of being in love or the intense feeling of closeness. Ulfat has no equivalent word in English. Precisely it is the intense liking between two unconnected persons. Even one of the two may not be aware of the feelings of love the other person has for him/her. **after hearing the word so many times in songs ive been listening to these days i decided to search for the meaning**
