Excluding some unnecessary scenes, this movie truly shows what it takes to love someone from a young age, it also shows how human life and relationships are temporary but unforgettable. On the surface level am I happy with ending ? maybe idk. This film portrayed that all the characters are happy at the end, but irl I feel there is nothing called mutual its just too superficial, there will always be a party who suffers more emotionally and physically than the other. maybe just maybe that person can never move on from this broken relationship. well most of them do ig. Fun Fact << You Are the Apple of My Eye is based on director Giddens Ko's autobiographical novel. lastly I just feel even with all the acquired wisdom, maturity, sophistication and therapy can we really forget & forgive the person we once loved ?
