I listened to this on audio, and honestly? This book is unhinged in the best way. This is very much a paranormal romance with shifters, specifically rabbits and wolves, which already tells you whether this is your thing or not. There are some underlying political or moral themes baked into the story, but they’re not preachy. You kind of just absorb them as you go. If you’re curious, just read it. Explaining it would ruin the ride. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It’s not life-changing, not earth-shattering, not going to fix your problems, but it is incredibly enjoyable. It’s the kind of story where you forget about your own worries and just follow the FMC through her messy, chaotic journey, and honestly that’s its biggest strength. Now, quick warning for the pearl-clutchers: this is reverse harem. Three men, one woman. If that already offends you spiritually, this is not your book. Personally, I liked the dynamic a lot. There were moments where I got frustrated because I just wanted everyone to stop circling each other and do something already, but that tension also kept it fun. Spice-wise, I’d rate it around a 3 out of 5 🌶. The book is on the shorter side, and the spicy scenes are more methodical than explosive. They’re framed as a way to ease the FMC’s pain rather than pure indulgence, so it doesn’t feel super intense or overwhelming. Final verdict: chaotic, fun, slightly ridiculous, and very easy to enjoy. Not deep literature, but a great time if you’re in the mood for something wild and unapologetically weird.
