I watched Benji by accident, but it turned out to be a lovely surprise. The story follows an adorable little dog who ends up on an adventure while connecting deeply with two funny and sweet kids. It’s heartwarming and a little bit dramatic, just the right mix of adventure and family love. Benji completely steals the show. His expressions feel almost human. The two child actors bring great energy and innocence, making the bond with the dog believable and touching. The film reminds us how loyal dogs are and how much they love their humans. It’s simple but genuinely moving. By the end, I couldn’t help but wonder if dogs can really eat that many strawberries!
