I’ve seen a few movies about this history, so the events aren't new to me, but this one stands out because of how these people were saved. It’s clear that Itzhak Stern was the real strategist. He was a brilliant manipulator of the system, and without him using Schindler’s power as a shield, those people wouldn't have stood a chance. It shows that while many Jews survived in different ways, the future of this specific group depended entirely on that list. The symbolism in the film is what made me want to dig deeper. My only critique is that I wish the movie showed more of Emilie Schindler’s contribution. She was just as much a hero as her husband.
