Firts things first, I did not went to the movies today expecting to see a faithful adaptation of the brilliant novel by Emily Brönt. That being said, I did not expected to be so dissapointing. This movie left me feeling what I already new, that Emerald Fennell is a coward in many levels. Not all the efforts put in this movie by its crew and cast could made it something more then it was destined to be: a bad fan fiction of the desire of Emerald Fennell to be f*cked by Jacob Elordi (which puting the whitewashing factor beside, is actually a great surprise in his role). Just sad, really sad to see this adaptation. I have plenty of things to say about this film, but it’s just not worthy it. The beginning and the end of it were really beautiful, tho.
