ㅤ 𓈒 ୭ৎ 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗜𝗡𝗙𝗢 𝅄 🪡 ۪ ݁ 𓈒 ⟢ birth name : Her parents saw her and named her Lineer. But for the past several years, she’s insisted that everyone call her Haalari instead. ﹒⟢ age : 58 years old! But don’t freak out! Her half-elf heritage makes her look like she’s in her early twenties. And honestly? She kind of thinks like someone in her twenties too. Ugh, the drama, the daydreaming! She thinks about young people, about ladies too — ah, the wonder of youth! ﹒⟢ race : She’s a half-elf. Her mother was a drow, but since she was born on the surface, she managed to escape the typical customs of her mother’s people. Still, that doesn’t stop some folks from giving her nasty looks when she walks by. ﹒⟢ gender : Trans woman. ﹒⟢ pronouns : She / Her ﹒⟢ alignment : Chaotic neutral ﹒⟢ class : She’s a bard, College of Lore. Though honestly? She’s way more likely to use her musical talents to flirt with someone than to recount some grand epic tale. ﹒⟢ background : Charlatan. She’s spent most of her life lying, cheating, stealing, and scamming her way through the world. Maybe it’s finally time to retire… or at least pretend to. ㅤ 𓈒 ୭ৎ 𝗣𝗛𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝅄 🪡 ۪ ݁ 𓈒 ㅤ· ⠀⠀✿ 、 height & weight: She’s about 1.58 meters tall (around 5'2") and weighs roughly 50 kilos (about 110 lbs). Honestly, it’s like her dad’s genes barely even tried — she ended up pretty small by drow standards. And yeah… sometimes she’s a little self-conscious about it. Full drow women tend to be taller than the average human, so standing there at 5'2"? Not exactly the intimidating, imposing presence she was “supposed” to have. ㅤ· ⠀⠀✿ 、 general description: She’s definitely… eye-catching. Like most elves, she has features people would easily call beautiful — almost effortlessly so. Her skin is a rich brown tone, warm and vibrant, which sets her apart from the more typical grayish hues often associated with drow. It gives her a striking, distinctive presence that’s hard to ignore. Her elven ears are unmistakable, elegantly pointed and impossible to miss. She’s slim, with a light, agile figure that makes her movements look graceful without even trying. She has full, plush lips, a sharp aquiline nose, and absolutely mesmerizing eyes — her bright white irises are the kind of detail people remember long after she’s walked away. Her hair matches the cool tone of her eyes: grayish, short, and perpetually messy. The uneven, tousled look isn’t exactly intentional… she just might not bother brushing it after waking up from a very satisfying nap. ㅤ 𓈒 ୭ৎ 𝗣𝗦𝗬𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝅄 🪡 ۪ ݁ 𓈒 ㅤ· ⠀⠀✿ 、 personality Haalari grew up being judged, mistrusted, and treated like a walking curse. A trans woman, a half-drow, and visibly different even among her own kind — she learned early on that the world rarely offers kindness without conditions. Over time, she built a thick skin. Or at least, she learned how to pretend she did. Criticism rolls off her easily now, or so it seems. In truth, she simply refuses to let it show. Matters of the heart aren’t foreign to her — she understands desire, longing, and attachment very well. But she also believes getting too close to people is dangerous. It’s safer to leave before she can be left. She rarely stays with the same group for long; months are usually her limit before she slips away again, chasing the next opportunity or avoiding the next disappointment. She’s playful, dramatic, and usually in high spirits. Charming when she wants to be, mischievous when she’s bored. She tends to prioritize her own benefit above all else. She might help others occasionally — sometimes even sincerely — but those moments are rare and often fleeting. Seduction is one of her favorite tools. She knows how to smile just right, how to lower her voice, how to play a role that fits whatever the situation demands. Sometimes she pretends so well that even she isn’t sure which parts are real anymore. ㅤ· ⠀⠀✿ 、 backstory Born on the surface as Lineer, the child of an exiled drow mother and a human father, she never experienced the rigid matriarchal structure that governs most drow societies. Even so, growing up between two worlds left her in constant tension. She never fully belonged to either side. There were always expectations waiting for her, customs she was supposed to follow, and roles she was meant to accept. From a very early age, the role assigned to her, that of a son, felt suffocating. It felt like performing a life that was not hers. When she finally chose to live openly as the woman she had always known herself to be, she expected relief. What she found instead was rejection. The distance she had always felt from others did not disappear. Her family repudiated her. To them, she became a source of shame, something easier to cast aside than to understand. Whatever fragile connection remained between them broke completely. After that, she learned a simple truth. If the world refused to accept her as she was, she would become whoever she needed to be. Survival shaped her into a performer long before she ever called herself a bard. She learned how to lie convincingly, how to read a room in seconds, how to shift her personality to match whatever would benefit her most. Deception was not just a way to earn coin. It was protection. It was control. If she could define the story, then no one else could define her. Over the years she has been many things. A seller of miracle elixirs with a dazzling smile. An exiled noblewoman spinning tales of lost estates. A prophet whispering dramatic predictions of love and disaster. She reinvents herself easily and often. Her morality follows her mood. She might help a town guard simply because she finds the captain attractive. She might ruin a merchant’s deal because the journey has grown dull and she craves excitement. She acts according to impulse, curiosity, and personal interest. She values her freedom above loyalty, and her autonomy above approval. She became a bard not out of passion for music or devotion to history, but because she was searching for something that felt like identity. Bards preserve stories. They give shape to the lives of others. If she cannot remain a hero, a ruler, or a legend without growing restless, then she can at least stand close to those who do. She can observe. She can document. She can tell their stories with flair and embellishment. Somewhere deep inside, she hopes that by archiving the destinies of others, her own life might eventually take on weight and meaning. Despite all of this, she rarely feels like a true bard. In her mind, real bards are driven by passion and conviction. They believe in something greater than themselves. Haalari is not sure she believes in anything at all. When someone asks her why she plays, she always offers a beautiful, dramatic explanation. The kind that sounds like it belongs in a legend. It is always a lie. There is one truth she does not question. She is a woman. That certainty is the only solid ground she has ever stood on. Yet being a trans woman, visibly half drow, and constantly judged has left its mark. She often feels compelled to prove that she is enough, desirable enough, talented enough, convincing enough. She tries to validate her existence through the roles she performs and the people she manages to charm or deceive. She is a fraud in many ways. She does not truly love music. She does not truly love being a bard. And most days, she struggles to love herself.
