A fried ball called “Buñuelos” which are like Colombian little donuts our friend Alma added cheese to (forgot what the cheese was called but apparently it’s not easily found in grocery stores). we thought it was the appetizer because she kept feeding them to us while still cooking, but apparently it was part of the dessert. It was supposed to be eaten with this thick, Horchata tapioca pudding dessert she made. She told us it’s a traditional dessert served on Christmas in Columbia but we weren’t able to have Christmas dinner with them so she was making up for it!
