i was going into this movie expecting to not like it because of it being based off of a colleen hoover book. “it ends with us” wasn’t too bad in my eyes but it wasn’t great either. however, i really liked the story and how it wasn’t your typical love story. there were a lot of relationship and family dynamics at play that affected the main characters romance in a way that was unique. i also felt like the acting was a bit shakey in the beginning but got better in the more emotional scenes. i even ended up getting a bit emotional at the end too surprisingly! all in all, it wasn’t the BEST romance movie i’ve seen but i’m not at all mad that i watched it.
