My favorite movie of all time. . It’s just people being a little delusional about their first impressions and then slowly realizing they were wrong, which is so real it hurts. The whole thing is very “I judged too fast and now I have to sit with that,” and the tension is all subtle like looks, conversations, tiny shifts nothing over the top but still somehow addictive. And Jane Austen was honestly so slick with the writing, like it’s lowkey funny, a bit shady, and super observant without trying too hard. It just feels smart, a little dramatic in a quiet way. Lizzy is a badass. She is one of my fav characters ever.
