that was single-handedly one of the coolest moments of my life >:] i feel so grateful i got to experience this historic moment from up close! there were so much traffic going to KSC, it took us 45 minutes to drive less than a mile bc how many people were in Titusville. after sitting in traffic for what felt like eternity, we made it to our viewing area (which wasn't overly crowded !) when Artemis started her liftoff, everyone around us went from cheering and clapping to completely silent; it was surreal. we just stood there watching in awe. the engine was so loud that even with noise canceling headphones, i could still hear it. the physical rumbling was surprising, it almost felt like i was standing in front of a massive speaker blasting music. i felt it in my bones! my favorite part was watching Core Stage break away from the boosters, i will always think it's awesome that we could see the separation happen! by far one of the coolest moments of my life :'] p.s. i will never forgive you, Jared Issacman.
