April is sexual awareness month. I'm not a victim, but every time I listen to it,I get really emotional.Your power tells a very powerful story,of how sexual assault is downplayed, repackaged as something unexpected until you can fully comprehend the magnitude of what has just happened,and the culprit will only be forced, especially in today's society,to apologize and acknowledge the intensity of his doings,when he finds out of the public repercussions and consequences that he/she might face if they don't. My heart goes out to all sexual assault victims. It's not your fault,it never was and it will never be .You WILL get through this.
