Half documentary, half drama, this one digs deep into how social media algorithms mess with our heads. Those “for you” pages and endless reels don’t show up by chance. they’re built to keep you scrolling forever. The quote “If you’re not paying for the product, you are the product” says it all. It does a great job visualizing how algorithms control what we see, shaping opinions and creating echo chambers 同溫層 (where people only read what matches their beliefs). Suddenly, it becomes clear why encountering opposing views online feels almost impossible. Watching the doc made me seriously question how much time I waste glued to my phone. Addiction is just part of the issue. the bigger story is how tech changes thoughts and behaviors. Cyberbullying, shrinking attention spans, and fake news all tie back to the same system. Creepy yet necessary, it serves as a wake-up call. Those who think critically won’t fall for everything on their feeds. Hopefully one day, we’ll harness technology instead of letting it manipulate us.
