this movie is sooooooo good in some parts and falls off in others but it’s an absolutely heart wrenching watch and this sense of loneliness and isolation and self-loathing for past mistakes is so so powerful. the roof scene? where shoya’s life flashes before his eyes? absolutely terrifying and relatable.
