This was so very sad and tragic, things just snowballed against them one after another. The amount of tragedy rivaled the machinations of Tyler Perry's imagination.

The humorous moments didn't work for me, but the level of dynamic visuals and intense and vivid expressions in nearly every panel was exquisite. There are a lot of Mariko's out there. We can only try our best.
