One of the most underrated Coldplay albums! It’s surprisingly beautiful and ethereal.

The themes/messages on this album are somehow more relevant today than when it was released. It’s a great album to listen to when you’re worries about the state of the world. Especially Love It if we Made It! It’s sonically awesome too as The 1975 always are :)

I’ve been listening to the Grammy winners recently, this album actually surprised me so much because it’s not at all what I normally listen to but I enjoyed it so much! I don’t speak Spanish so I’m not gonna pretend to know what it’s about lol but the music just makes you want to dance, it’s amazing!

Coldplay’s older discography is soooooo good!! Not as much of a fan of the newer albums but A Head Full of Dreams backwards is amazing!! This album is also definitely a highlight for me, such a colourful vibe but with darker themes underneath! I really love Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown, Every Teardrop is a Waterfall and Major Minus

What a good album! It has such a joyful warm quality to the sound that I can’t get enough of. Great lyrical content too! Love it :)

Olivia Dean won best new artist at the Grammy’s, it was absolutely deserved this is such an enjoyable album!

I’ve been loving a bit of electronic pop recently! This album is really popular because of Illegal but the rest is awesome too. It’s kinda pop mixed with d&b with plenty of samples.

This album has such a captivating sound, I can’t believe it came out in 2009?? it sounds so recent for some reason. maybe it’s the electronic influences! The vocals are beautiful and it has such a dreamy atmosphere

This is such a beautiful album. Hannah’s voice is angelic, and the instrumentals are hypnotic and sparse with elements of electronic and indie pop. I love it :)

I love this vibe so much, it has such euphoric moments but it’s also really witchy and magical. Florence’s voice is incredible, and the instrumentation is also slightly unusual which adds so much, there’s harps/strings, heavy additional percussion, and sometimes electronic elements it all combines together in a weird and wonderful album. I love it!

I think this might be one of, if not my favourite album ever. It spans a huge range of my musical taste, with rock, dreamy indie pop, and electronic elements. It’s SO GOOD. The production is perfect imo, it’s so dreamy and washy. Ellie’s vocals are sooooo beautiful too. She has the perfect voice for this because she can literally go from screaming/shouting lyrics to whispering and singing softly. I recently listened to an episode of the podcast Tape Notes with Wolf Alice and the producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen where they chatted about the writing/recording/production of a couple songs on the album. If you are into that kind of thing I would definitely recommend Tape Notes, it’s a really enjoyable podcast and interesting to hear previous demos and behind the scenes info.
