when i got the book, i never thought i'd end up liking it this much. taylor definitely structured the story in a very entertaining and enjoyable way. maybe it's overrated for many people, but the story pulls you in one way or another.

I definitely loved the book just as much as the show. Elizabeth’s confidence, straightforwardness, and the way she turned everything into a learning experience were beautiful to read. Es muy blanquito, pero de mis favoritos.

3.8 ★ this book is good. i love women, but it didn't hit me the same way the author's other books did. still, i enjoyed it—and honestly, points for being the first book i've actually managed to finish this year.

It's an incredible book, and even though I'm usually not a fan of stories centered around spirituality, I have to admit it was a very light and easy read. I genuinely connected with certain parts of it and understood why they resonated with me. The story follows a man trying to navigate life's adversities while searching for himself along the way. Although I wish it had explored its themes with much more depth, the message of the book shouldn't be underestimated or overlooked. Still, I think the interpretation of this story is entirely subjective and depends on each reader.

this was a fun read. i liked it, but i can't say i loved it. going into it, i expected something closer to "what would audrey hepburn actually do?" and instead got a lot of "well, we think she might have done this" and "based on vibes, cultural references, and collective imagination..." which, fair enough, but at some point i felt like i was reading fan theories with citations. and i mean, i love audrey. she's genuinely one of my biggest inspirations, especially because of her humanitarian work, so i was always going to enjoy spending time in her orbit. i just wish the book had spent a little less time guessing and a little more time actually being about the woman in the title. overall, an enjoyable read. just not quite as insightful or revelatory as i hoped. ps: i used a translator for this review lol

i've had this on my tbr for ages, and when i finally found a physical copy, i was genuinely excited. because it's deadpool and gambit. both are favorites. WHAT A WASTE! and don't get me wrong, i had fun, truly. but it felt weirdly underwhelming? like there was so much potential here and somehow nobody fully committed to it. not terrible, not amazing. kind of disappointing, but enjoyable. thankfully, i bought this on sale, which honestly improved my reading experience by at least 2.8 stars because, i mean, MY MONEY WHAT
