today I did a tarot spread to continue my moon cycle work. the Moon was in Libra today and we are approaching the end of this cycle (may I add "finally") this spread gave me a bit of hope.

today was a nice day! the Moon was in Libra, the Sun in Sagittarius. moon was making a sextile with Venus, harmonizing what we love and what we deeply care about. the sun in also approaching some great conjunction with Venus and Mars. · · ─ ·✶· ─ · · I was able to read tarot, a simple daily spread "thinking, feeling, doing" and a shadow card. thinking - 9PRx this was the most interesting one and for sure the most challenging. I'm pulling a lot of pentacles reversed during this month and I'm doubting myself. feeling - temperance I'm feeling more balanced and today I was able to fulfill a lot of nice things that make me happy doing - QW this is so on point! like when I pulled it I was like "hell yeah 😎" today I was the shi shadow - the devil I know sometimes it is seen as a "negative" card but I feel it in a deeper level, and I also see it has the living deliciously manifest. · · ─ ·✶· ─ · · as for me, the 10th Venus entered my 5th house (creativity) and I've been feeling much better since then. I found myself being able to embrace the joys of life without guilt. I have some squares that are bumming me out these days but today wasn't one of those luckily 🍀

today I made a winter cordial! based on the book "wild witchcraft" by Rebecca Beyer. I put inside pine, oragne peel, vanilla, cinnamon, rosemary and vodka. we'll need to wait 4 weeks to see the results! let's hope for the best!! this was a early winter solstice ritual. I'm happy to have harvested pine and rosemary myself from my garden! never thought I'd be a green witch 🧹🪄

I loved it. these past months I've felt the urge to reconnect with nature, to read and learn more about it, to feel more connected to it. this book is very handy for both people interested in herbalism and witchcraft; providing spells, rituals and recepies to do with foraged goods.

I realized my grandma(s) thought me several useful, almost magical tips. that's why I want to make a "series" about them! I love repov for being some sort of textual YouTube and that's why I think I'll sort the post into collections. first of all, my "character development" collection, because those advices really shaped who I am today; secondly my "magic" collection, since, as I said, those folklore tips lies a fairly amount of good witchcraft. you know when sometimes a song talks themes and you just fall in love with it? like, it's just *so* on point you can't even describe it and you become completely obsessed with it? but you know when sometimes a song talks something completely random and so far away from your behaviors and life experience you just fall in love with it? I remember when this song came out. it was 2016. I was changing highschool and a classmate asked me: "you don't smoke, you never even fucked, why do you like this song so much?" and I was a bit stunned. it was true, I was a good kid back then but that song really appealed to me. fast forward, it's 2024, EIGHT (8) years later. I heard the song while coming back from my part-time job at McDonald's, it was late at night, and I was listening to my life long collection of liked song. this song came up. I started singing it by heart. and then, eight years later, the lyrics were *so* on point. I was struggling with a strange fwb relationship with my ex boyfriend; I was confused, sad, in a very dark place, and that song came to me like a gift from the heavens. do you think it's some sort of destiny? like, your soul *knows* and you end up liking something just for.. foreshadowing (?) two years later, this song came to my mind again, this time just because of the general idea of (translating literally) "enjoying the moment". gosh, it sure has been a ride! but for a reason or another, I'm happy I ended up here, I'm happy my choices made me who I am today, I'm happy this song took me by the hand and was with me for, now, 10 years. it really makes me feel the brick wall of people and memories I have in myself that shaped who I am today. it's something just so.. fulfilling.

finally tasted the winter cordial we did during winter solstice! it is nice, the vodka we used as a base is very strong, but you can still distinguish all the different ingredients. the orange peel made the color turn out so golden! the cinnamon and vanilla add a nice touch. it surely is best not exceed, but I think next year I'll do more and gift it to my friends! overall a nice experience, experiment successful~

I use several astro tools, sometimes they are overly complicated compared to what I'm looking for. this calendar is, by far, the most clear and straightforward. it's not a big database and I've been able just to see the 2026 calendar but for a everyday use is perfect.

the snow moon! this is the folk name of the February full moon (usually in Leo) being more aware of the moon this past years, it's amazing how the mood changes because of weather conditions dictated by the wheel of the year and how accurate those traditional names are. the moon looked like in a gothic book these days! the gloom and the fog really makes the scenery unique. the air too, was feeling very chilly and snowy like- a pity it didn't! the other day, I was able to see the moon, Jupiter, Castor and Pollux from the Gemini constellation all in one place! ↓pic 2 unedited, pic 4-5-6 ↓ on the right the orangy-dot is Jupiter, you can barely see right over the moon two tiny diagonal dots representing the heads of the Twins in pic 4-5-6 you can see an edited version to make the points more recognizable, an overlap with the app "stellarium" and the original screenshot

since last year I was able to read tarot more consistently, I think this is a great opportunity to look back and check how it went! I did a total of 44 readings (that's roughly 3+/month!) and my most drawn cards -5 times each- of the year were: ✨ the tower and the two of wands ✨ combined, they symbolize that it is time to break free from the old and embrace the new. thinking of it, that's also the whole meaning of the year of the snake; to shed and renew oneself. how nice when the dots connect :]

the book is full of interesting facts, points of view, and schools of thought. the amount of information and bibliography on both psychology, esoterism and tarot is huge, and I really loved that. what "bothered" me is the lack of explanation on certain topics. instead of repeating a numerous amount of times the same exact thing, I'd have liked more some in depth dive on more intricate subjects; that sometimes it was completely lacking. I really loved it tho! another slightly annoying fact were the amount of typos and errors throughout the whole book. might be a pet peeve but there were tons.

KPRx shadow - Judgment all this tarot reading really unfolds so naturally it gave me goosebumps as I was doing it. I was able to glance almost everything right away, feeling like everything was just so right. and it began excavating, I was feeling more and more astonished about the answers the deck was giving me that I was in shock. but then, the last one really confused me. what was the answer? I wasn't completely able to understand. of course I had the grasp of it and the big picture, but this card wasn't really saying anything to me.. I was (I think) more "ashamed" about the scolding I was receiving by it; like the king was reproaching me about my life/financial choices. I looked at this spread again and did some research about it, especially the meaning of the king of pentacles reversed, and this blog really opened my eyes: "If the King of Pentacles appears reversed, he signals that it is time to get organized in your thinking. Future goals can quickly become overwhelming if you try to tackle every single detail from the start. You may also feel like you are losing your joy for your work. The King of Pentacles advises you to break up your major goals into smaller achievable tasks. Be patient with yourself, and with the process of achieving your goals."

today we did an amazing syrup with our mimosa! it's sweet and very nice 💛 adding this to my folk magic recipes! ↓ how to ↓ Mimosa Flower Syrup This syrup has a delicate flavor and a unique floral scent. Ingredients: - 1 cup (about 250ml) water - 1 cup (about 200g) granulated sugar - 2 large handfuls of fresh mimosa flowers (Albizia julibrissin), cleaned and separated from the green stems - Optional: 1 tablespoon lemon juice (to preserve the color and add a fresh note) Method: Harvesting and cleaning: Collect the mimosa flowers (the pink/yellow "pompoms") and separate the woody green parts, which would make the syrup bitter. Preparing the syrup: In a small saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil, stirring until the sugar has completely dissolved. Infusion: Remove from heat and add the mimosa flowers. Let infuse for at least 12-24 hours (or until cooled, refrigerated). Straining: Strain the liquid through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth, crushing the flowers well to extract all the flavor. Storage: Bottle the syrup in a sterilized bottle. It will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks.

these days I'm feeling more confident and inspired. I drew a lot and today in particular felt like a great hair day. I'm also more conscious and try to work harder on my skincare and such. Venus is a trine with both moon and Jupiter. I'm able to handle even the harsh aspect mars is making. it's hard but this shall *transit*

I'm loving "astrology how and why it works" first of all, if you're interested in /how/ astrology works (a lot of angles and geometry and great stuff!) you should look it up, it's tangible magic second of all, I'm not even done yet and the only thing I can think about is starting all over again and take notes this time! it's very.. academic, and sometimes it minces words (in my opinion, I usually love more direct way of explaining)

a great, light book perfect for sunny afternoons and cozy nights. I read this book in a couple of nice, relaxing sessions and I really liked it! I usually don't read a lot of novels, especially fantasy ones, but this was so comforting, the Japanese settings gives it a nostalgic vibe for me, and also the astrology themes are very well explained! of course it's not a exhaustive introduction of anything astrological per se, but it helps clearing some doubts about houses, retrograde periods and other more advanced concepts that are often overlooked/aren't that common or, worse, our society are targeting and using to create some sort of fear and (at the end of the day) just share and viral, superficial posts.
