I didn't expect to like this or for it to resonate the way it did. I'm not the eldest daughter, but sometimes, the responsibilities of one fall so heavily on me. What struck me was the girl being told that the house won't fall apart just because she isn't around or because she chooses to do something for herself every now and then.
Side note: I think it would be fun to try to live alone.
