4.5 on Letterboxd since it doesn’t have the same format like on here. So this movie just further solidifies that for me that HEY DIVA YOU NEED YOUR OWN LIFE BESIDES YOUR PARTNER! I genuinely loved everything about this movie I was just STRESSED. also FUCK MEN?? Nikki girl did not deserve anything that happened throughout the movie. Fuck you to Bear of course.

this was a great movie! IDC!! it’s a kids movie so of course the dialogue was simple. The plot twist was foreshadowed HEAVILY. But it’s cute! The message of bringing everyone together is definitely overdone but I don’t care! We need more animation like this! I’m in love with all the designs and the world building UUUGGHHH I’m ignoring everyone comparing it and hoppers and zootopia I liked it a lot😭

this is a childhood favorite of mine! it’s the whole reason I found the group Mecano and also why i think im the little weirdo i am. I don’t remember it being this funny or the animation being THAT bad but i still enjoyed it. some parts of the story were hard to understand and the flow was off somewhat but I think my nostalgia for it slightly saved it.

I can’t take credit for this joke but— interstellar son or project hail mary daughter? anyways I cried multiple times.

i saw a lot of online discourse about the inaccuracies of the movie and how it pictured him as a man with no flaws but I don’t see how they saw that— i mean i feel like ofc theyre going to make him look good and WAS AND STILL IS an icon. obviously they can’t fit everything into one movie but I thought the way it was portrayed WAS impactful and gave the audience a better understanding of who he was and how he went about finding his own path.

I don’t remember this movie being THAT disgusting (the animation was actually so good).

I too, wish to be yearned and coveted for for 400 years. this is the type of love I was expecting though I will say I did actually know the source material unlike wh. as an ex catholic I loved every theme and aesthetic. it was also kinda goofy? ugh I can never get enough of vampires.
