Devastating, Disturbing and Disgusting. Simply soulcrushing, to be honest. To be inside this people’s minds, hearts and desires made me ill ate some point, but i could not put this book down, even for a moment. I simply adore Ottessa and I think this is one of her greatest books.

Bad Habit is a faithfull, and therefore devastating, representation of what it was and still is to be queer. The joy, the fear and the sadness that came from being different in a cruel and yet beautiful world. To be locked in a body that it’s not yours, to be afraid of get out of this meat jail. This coming of age book left me speachless, I think it’s an essential reading to the queer community.
