‘Good day’ breakfast for when there’s any energy or motivation :)
Contains fiber, protein, carbs and fats, as well as a lot of micronutrients from the fruit. Only takes like 10-15 minutes too.
Ingredients:
Any fruit
Honey or sugar
Milk (1 cup) (alternative works)
Oats (1/2 to 3/4 a cup)
A source of protein (protein powder (1 tb) / powdered peanuts (2 tb) / peanut butter (1 tb))
A bit of butter
Fruit Prep:
Cut any fruit into small chunks, drizzle with honey and let sit while you cook the oatmeal. (If you’re using apple or pear, add cinnamon.)
Oatmeal:
For one serving
Add a cup of milk into a small pot, and wait for it to boil. Add oats, measure depending on how chunky you like them. Stir for a few minutes until it thickens, but don’t let it get too thick, add your protein of choice (I use powdered peanuts, because I personally not a fan of protein powder.). Stir well. Add butter.
Add your ‘lazy jam’ onto your oatmeal and enjoy :D
