Thought it was pretty good! Didn’t know there was one before this so I gotta watch that too. But I loved the fantasy setting and all the characters. It was quite enjoyable and I loved Nina.

Pretty good! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this movie sooner because I love Constantine. Keanu Reeves did such a good job. My first thought was “where’s his blond hair” but that didn’t really matter. I love how he got an overall dark aesthetic compared to his usual get up in the comics. Everyone looked good in this movie epically Gabriel. I also liked how the movie showed that Constantine cares for others and that he’s not a bad person. In the comics I find he gets so much shit lol Everyone hates him and it’s kind of funny but I don’t think it’s fair to say he’s not compassionate. I need to start reading the original comics but it has 300 issues. I think I’ll get around to it.

Very interesting movie. I love where the plot went until it tapered of until the end. l still have some questions but this was less like a horror movie and more like a tragic love story. In that sense, I actually did enjoy it. Julia and Grady were so cute together.

Amazing movie!!! I loved the plot and how everything played out in the end. I will say this movie made me really emotional omg I literally cried in the theatre. It’s different watching this as a person who majors in animal science, works with sheep and has a passion for animal welfare.

Bruh I watched this movie for Mads Mikkelsen and as much as I wanted to like it, I hated it. Bro’s character is just annoying. He cheats on his fiance, gets the woman he cheated on him with pregnant, and it barely looks like he felt remorseful and then he comes crawling back at the end because he realized he made a mistake. I will say, his character was interesting. I liked the movies portrayal of a queer relationship and the real problems that can arise from them such as internalized homophobia but movie was still ass. Could have been more interesting but still love Mads.

How much of these movies are there? lol I watched this one with my family and thought it was great. Couldn’t get over that damn Alpha zombie with the large peanar.

I thought this movie was fantastic! First off, the aesthetic and fashion were beautiful. I loved the plot. I realized The Substance must have drew its inspiration from this. Idk if this movie was based off of something else. Overall, it was a fun watch. Great themes, humorous and I liked the ending. I loved how the two women decided to basically have a diva off. Ernest would have to be my favourite character. I thought he was funny and just relatable. I don’t like the fact that he married Madeleine so easily even though he was with Helen prior though.

Wish I could give two sets of ratings. The 2.5 is how much I enjoyed the movie but in terms of the movie’s themes, artistry and topics I would give it a 4/5. I went in blind watching this movie. Had no idea what it was about at first. I thought the colour grading was beautiful and the overall aesthetic was pleasing. But the movie did make me uncomfortable because of all the sexual scenes and Elaine pissed me off so much. I found it weird and had to pause it multiple times and resume. This is just how I felt about watching it though. In terms of the themes in this movie, I think it was done fantastically. Elaine is a complex character and I like how she’s kind of the protagonist and antagonist of the movie considering her destructive behaviours. But the real antagonist would be the patriarchy of course. I loved the symbolism with Tarot cards and the paintings in the movie. The objectification of Elaine and the women in this movie was portrayed nicely. I liked how it was done in a dramatic way but that’s unfortunately the reality. To conclude, this movie was a good thinking piece about women, the patriarchy, trauma, lust etc… Unfortunately I did find it hard to watch because of how sexual it was - even though that’s the idea.

Finished this game on the weekend. I thought it was great! I will say this was more story focused rather than gameplay focused in comparison to Little Nightmares- but I actually liked that. It forces you to pay attention and make connections. I find the plot super cool as an Animal Science major. I did rush the gameplay because I played it on my cousin’s switch because I can’t get the game on my switch since I have the old one - so tragic. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had time to progress through it on my own. My cousin did help me a bit since I really wanted to finish the game because I didn’t want to have to wait until we meet again to play. I didn’t give it a perfect score because I didn’t get the full experience playing it - but that’s on me. I honestly wish Little Nightmares 3 didn’t exist and was replaced with this instead. Little Nightmares 3 had so much potential but they done messed it up but that’s a different topic.

Honestly this was fantastic. Ngl I was a bit confused throughout the whole season just because of all that was happening with the plot, world-building, power systems, etc… But nothing a quick google search can’t fix. I really liked Klein’s character. He’s not one of those cringy male protagonists - he shows emotions, gets straight to business, strategic, intelligent and he does all this in a non-arrogant way. The animation and art was absolutely beautiful and the action scenes were so good. I also love how the women actually threw down instead of it being those cases where they’re so easily defeated or their power barely does damage. I know it’s based off of a novel so in terms of rating- and I know this can’t be helped but I felt like everything was so compact. Like there was missing details because the show was trying to cover as much plot possible. So that’s why I give it 4 stars. I just found it a bit hard to follow but nonetheless I still enjoyed it. Praise the fool!

This was an interesting movie. Was wondering how that stupid French guy kept applying his makeup. I don’t recall seeing any powder or lipstick in his bag. Anyways, I felt disturbed watching this which was a good thing. The Vourdalak made me uncomfortable and really pissed me off. I thought it was so cool how they used a puppet for it. I feel like that really added to the movie and made it even creepier. I liked the themes and the plot. Based on what I heard about the movie, I was expecting a bit more from it. So I did find it was lacking a bit because I thought there was going to be more to the plot.

Was pretty interesting, but will say I was a bit disappointed. I expected something more and felt the film was lacking a bit. But I still did enjoy watching it, there wasn’t a lot of therapy for the vampire tho. And he clearly needed more therapy. The whole progression of the human couple’s relationship was nice and I liked the parallel with the vampire couple. The movie was under comedy but I didn’t really find it funny. Not that it’s a bad thing but this is definitely not a comedy.

Honestly an amazing movie. I loved it so much. Initially watched it for Lee Pace hehe and didn’t expect to see great storytelling and amazing cinematography. First off, the whole movie was beautiful. Down to the scenery, costumes and colour grading. Secondly, the storytelling and chain of events were fantastic. I think Lee did a great acting job in this. Lastly, I found this movie to be very emotional once I started putting the pieces together of what was actually happening. Would watch it again but preferably without so much ads. The ads were such a pain and the movie kept buffering.

This was honestly so good! Typically I’m not one for Shakespeare because it was shoved down my throat in school but now I’ve changed my mind. All the English classes actually helped me understand the movie and what they were saying lol I think this has to be my favourite out of all the Shakespeare stories I know. Keanu reeves was so fine in this and so was Denzel Washington.
