this game is so fun and addicting, and scratches a bit of the itch that project sekai left behind while also combining it with ateez!!! logging in everyday feels very rewarding, and resources are not *that* hard to come by! it's just a matter of spending it wisely and finding more ways to get it. diamonds are somewhat(?) easy to get through log-ins and such, you just need to save them and spend wisely. hard to do that though when i never know what the next event will be, hehe.
pulling for cards is really addicting, as is doing that in almost any other card pulling game i've played, and it's really nice that you can sell cards you don't need for more R (what does the R stand for??).
i don't have many gripes with this game (sort of??? i rlly love the game), i just wish it had more QoL (quality of life) improvements. while playing a song, there is an image in the background that shows a cover photo from the album you're playing. that's fine, but some of the images are too bright and make it hard to focus due to the lack of contrast from the notes to the background.
i also wish the visuals had more quality, and were more modern; that goes for the sfx as well. the sfx can be a little too loud at times (though i'm sure there's a way to lower them. is there?) and raising your game quality to high doesn't do much, at least for me and my phone. images are grainy, and i wish they were less grainy, is what i'm saying. and the notes, when pressing on them, can be a little disorienting due to how bright and how big the press effects are. i have the size of my notes set on medium/large, but i may switch over to small and see if that helps with my vision during the songs at all.
events are fun, though the main ones come off as very pay-to-win-y, or maybe i'm just poor in the game huhu. (it's definitely a little pay-to-win-y, or at least pay-to-get-cool-stuff-y cuz a lot of cool (but not rlly necessary) things r stuck behind a paywall) regardless, if you're an ateez fan, this is a fun lil experience for beginner and intermediate rhythm game players! the charts are actually quite tough, even the earlier ones from earlier albums, which i reaaaally like!!!
