Even though this documentary mostly focuses on the negative sides of ANTM, it kind of forgets to highlight the positive things and the huge cultural impact the show had. I mean there’s a reason this reality show has expanded into franchises in more than 50 countries. Maybe Tyra can come across a bit fake at times, but the doors she helped open for the fashion and modeling industry shouldn’t be forgotten either.
Also I wouldn’t even be mad if this turned out to be some kind of promotional media for a new cycle (cycle 25 maybe? Who knows). After all, this is a documentary about one of the most flamboyant and fashion-forward reality shows on earth, a show that’s been running (and talked about) for decades. And honestly, watching this just made me want to binge the whole thing again starting from season 1 lmao.
