after watching the trailer, i can’t help but feel like this is going to be something much bigger than just another series (same thinking after i watched the pilot) and with that, probably something deeply controversial too—not because it exists to disrespect faith, but because it dares to sit in the uncomfortable space between devotion, identity, fear, and love. kasi some people tend to hide or lock themselves because theyre scared of what others might think and probably just knows how they would react. stories like this tend to divide people, especially in a society where belief is deeply personal and alam naman natin na some people doesn’t approve of same-sex relationship. but maybe that discomfort is what makes it important. not every story is meant to comfort you; some are meant to quietly ask the questions we spend years avoiding.
