An absolute favorite ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just finished For Whom the Belle Tolls and I’m still feeling emotional. This book is by far one of my most beautiful reading of the year. The story and the characters deeply marked me. Jaysea Lynn succeeds in the rare challenge of making us go through a real emotional roller coaster: I smiled, I vibrated, and I shed so many tears... It’s beautifully written, poignant and addictive. The wait until the next book will be infinitely long, I can’t wait to find this universe again!

The webtoon is still ongoing and I’m only at the very beginning, but the story is already incredibly fast-paced. What I find particularly interesting is how her past life as an assassin and her new life as a nanny slowly intertwine through the characters and the general conflicts within the palace. On top of that, the artwork is super cute! The little princess's expressions are honestly adorable. Watching the contrast between Kyla's killer instincts and the tenderness of these children is an absolute joy—both hilarious and deeply heartwarming. The story is super unexpected, and the heroine has a really unique personality. She is amazing, but without being over-the-top or having every single power in the world, which makes her so refreshing to follow. ​The artwork is very beautiful, especially the way the flashbacks are presented. I find it fascinating to learn more about her past, to understand why she acts the way she does, and to slowly uncover the political chaos in the kingdom that led to her current situation. Huge shoutout to Laslo and Linia, who are just incredible characters—you can tell they're hiding a secret that seems very, very cool for what's to come. A great read that stands out mostly due to its unique art style, which is a refreshing change from the usual webtoon aesthetics. Visually, it is stunning and creates a very distinct atmosphere. The character dynamics are incredibly mature: Leo is far from an idealized, perfectly healthy hero—he carries genuine darkness and deep secrets. Opposite him, Hannah is just as complex. She is a woman dealing with heavy trauma, constantly scrutinized by a patriarchal society, yet she remains incredibly strong. The narrative structure is very cleverly paced, revealing Hannah's past and her relationship with her late husband bit by bit, which keeps you completely hooked. On top of that, watching them grow closer is so much fun, especially because the story perfectly nails the 'He falls first and harder' trope. A nuanced, tense, and aesthetically gorgeous romance!
