ㅤㅤ ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ✎ . . . ❛ 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺... 𝘸𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥. ❟ ㅤㅤ٠࣪⭑ new nonslop youtuber to watch that's actually entertaining but also informative on various topics!!!!!! i have been watching a lot of deep dives on video games recently (by a lot i mean literally just bizlychannel) in lieu of me being too busy to play them, so when i got blessed on my reccomended feed with for the wren's skyrim video i was instantly obsessed. ㅤㅤㅤ for the wren makes video game deep dives but what sets them apart is that all of their videos specifically deep dive on identifying the kinds of birds in the video game rather than the game itself 😭 my favorite part about the two videos they've posted though is that not only are they identifying birds, they talk a lot about the cultures and people that areas in the games were inspired by and the connections between birds and those people like how they used feathers, how birds were depicted in their art, etc. so not only are you learning about birds you also get to learn about some anthropology here and there too. ㅤㅤㅤ the interesting information, dedicated costumes, incredible editing, like there's nothing to dislike here fr. the editing style reminds me a lot of bizly and any austin which i love soo much. i need more people to take on this style because hell yeah i wanna see you dressed like an npc in the game you've edited yourself into and are about to info dump on me about!!!

'' ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ— jerry gretzinger ㅤ ㅤㅤin today's age of constantly moving to the next big thing, scrolling past idea after idea and never sitting with anything longer than a few moments, i've had a growing fascination with people who have a "life's work". something they choose for passion or other reasons to spend majority of their lives dedicated to. most recently, this curiosity has led me to discovering jerry and his cool ass map that he has been creating for over 6 decades. ㅤㅤevery single part of this map as well as the process in which it's made and changed is so interesting to me, the living card deck that dictates how the map is changed, the different dimensions overtaking the map with time. it was also mentioned in the documentary i watched (i have linked it below if you're curious) he mentioned that among the scrap paper used in the map were old receipts, photos, and even handwritten notes he recieved from friends and family. his literal life being weaved into his masterpiece that he can look back on is so incredible. ㅤㅤ learning about this made me want to make my own living deck. i don't have a need for one or any idea of what i could use it for but it's too cool looking to not want one for myself. i wonder if it would work in the context of writing a story or something. sources to revisit: excellent documentary — https://youtu.be/Is8N7B9b0GQ?si=f05_-NSghPM-tH__ another short documentary — https://share.google/J94wtN4KB1GQ9IfcO jerry's website — https://share.google/TCXzIQ8zAvSFXdR6f jerry's blog — https://share.google/lda593xHBVRyAq9V7 making a jerry deck — https://youtu.be/CUxIRnHvkxs?si=F4XARS5fp4uf117P
